The Student Biryani is located at Van Street, Empress Market, Karachi. It was a radiant evening in October 1969 when understudies were getting back and gazed at the sign on Katrak Road which was never there before. There was composed Café Student.

A man of around 40, Haji Muhammad Ali, was remaining behind the slowdown which has not many plates and a container loaded with sweet-smelling, flavorsome rice that he named Biryani. Bystanders couldn't avoid attempting this special food.

This was the start of Café Student. From a modest beginning to turning into a brand, from a brand to a pattern and from a pattern to a symbol. Cafe Student has made some amazing progress.
