H.E. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi has arrived in Islamabad on 9^th September 2017 to take up his appointment as the Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of United Arab Emirates to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He presented his Letter of Credence to the President of Pakistan on 2^nd November 2017. 

Ambassador Al-Zaabi was born in Ras Al Khaima 1982, and graduated in Bachelor of Political Sciences, Emirates University, 2004, and Masters of Administrative Sciences in Diplomacy and International Affairs, Fairleigh Dickinson University, New York, 2012.

 He started his Diplomatic Career in 2004, he was appointed in the Diplomatic and Consular Corps and in 2006 transferred to the Permanent Mission in the United Nation in New York, in 2010 he was promoted to the rank of 1^st Secretary and transferred to the UAE Embassy in Paris 2011, and in 2015 transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H.Q. and appointed Director of International Organization Department, in 2016 promoted to the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary, H.E. has participated in several International and Arabic Conferences and Meetings.
