Welcome To Aga Khan Medical Center

Aga Khan Medical Center has been providing medical facilities, quality care and services in the Gilgit area since 1974, and the current expansion is complementing the government's efforts to achieve the goals of sustainable development in health. Two state-of-the-art health facilities in Gilgit, expansion of Aga Khan Medical Center and construction of a new Aga Khan Health Center in Hunza are underway to ensure continuity of quality health services to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. 

Services

Services in the new wing include acute and critical care, CT scans, dermatology, cardiology, dialysis, ophthalmology, teleconsultations and tele-ICU services, emergency medicine, oxygen generation, a full PCR lab and a blood bank. 

With the high prevalence of non-communicable diseases in the region and the growing tourism sector, modern and state-of-the-art healthcare facilities in the region will play an important role in meeting the health needs of Gilgit and its environment.
