Rawal Institute of Health Sciences (RIHS) was established in 2011 in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC). RIHS provides quality medical education and healthcare services.

RIHS includes Rawal College of Medicine, Rawal College of Dentistry and Rawal Medical and Dental Hospital, Rawal Nursing College, Rawal Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, and Rawal College of Pharmacy. 

Rawal College of Dentistry

Rawal College of Dentistry is one of the first private sector institutions in Islamabad to offer extension of MBBS and BDS degrees. This facility is adjacent to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad which is the first public sector medical university in the federal capital. Rawal College of dentistry is committed to creating a world-class learning experience for students who enjoy a conducive environment and peaceful surroundings that motivate them to reach the heights of inward excellence.

Programs

Rawls College of Dentistry (RCoD) offers a four-year undergraduate program that leads to a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. This program is designed to equip students with the appropriate knowledge and skills required for dental health practices and patient care. The RCOD places special emphasis on professional integrity and behavior, so that generous and positive-minded health professionals are born.

Facilities

RCOD serves as a world class educational environment. From fully equipped laboratories, libraries, state-of-the-art hostels, auditoriums, hygiene cafeterias, and student unions, there are a variety of facilities on campus for use that remain open throughout the period. RIHS has a lot to shout about, our alumni have high employment rates. RCOD has a large community in which more than 2000 students from all over the country travel to study here.
