Welcome To Ayub Medical and Teaching Institution

Ayub Medical and Teaching Institution Abbottabad, a 1460-bed Trustee Care Teaching Hospital and the largest healthcare facility in North Pakistan. ATH began operations in 1995 and received 1,860 beds in 1998. It is a center for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in various fields of medicine and surgery. ATH is a state-of-the-art health facility, equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities. All teaching hospitals, including Ayub Teaching Hospital, were given full autonomy under the Medical Teaching Institution Reforms Act, 2015. 

Services and Facilities

ATH Service provides operationally outpatient, inpatient, general wards and special wards, accident and emergency, intensive care and cardiology units, operating theaters, delivery suites and support services such as pharmacy, radiology and imaging, physio, performs therapy, blood bank, laboratory.

Ayub Teaching Hospital as an institution is providing prevention, treatment / relaxation, poverty and rehabilitation services. It also provides biological research, teaching and training facilities to all hospital members and health professionals, including not only doctors and nurses but also paramedics.

It is a center for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in various fields of medicine and surgery. ATH is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities and cares for a wide population of millions of patients from Hassan Abdal to Gilgit and a part of Kashmir on one side and a part of Punjab on the other from Swat Valley.
