Altamish Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM) is known as an important resource for dental education and dental medical college in Karachi. AIDM was established in 2001 and since its inception stands as an ideal place for undergraduate, postgraduate, research programs, foreign collaboration and student-teacher exchange programs. AIDM was founded by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Tamish. He is the first dentist to be awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz Presidential Award by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in recognition of his invaluable services in the field of health.

Programs and Facilities 

AIDM provides annual training to hundreds of students from all over Pakistan and other parts of the world. These include undergraduate and postgraduate students in dentistry, as well as dental hygienists, dental technicians and dental assistants. The college also offers research opportunities.
