Welcome To Benazir Bhutto Hospital

Benazir Bhutto Hospital is a 750-bed Trustee Care Hospital, affiliated to Rawalpindi Medical University, located on Main Murree Road, Rawalpindi. The hospital was commissioned in 1957 as the District Headquarters Hospital with a capacity of 150 beds.It was taken over by the federal government in 1960 and the central government announced the addition of 250 beds in the hospital. 

Services

The hospital became famous and is still popularly known as the Central Hospital. The building hospital includes Accident and Emergency Block, OPD Block and Indoor Block Parent Department. The hospital is run by the Health Department, Government of Punjab. The state-of-the-art rehabilitation center has been set up in collaboration with WHO for drug addicts.

Benazir Bhutto Hospital is providing 24-hour medical services to its patients across the country with the help of professionals. There are various departments operating in the hospital, providing quality care to the population of Abbottabad division and adjoining areas of the capital of Islamabad and neighboring province K.P.K. 

Benazir Bhutto Hospital has medicine, surgery, diabetes and liver clinic, gynecology and obstetrics, ophthalmology, pathology, orthopedic surgery, urology, dialysis department, radiology, cardiology, dermatology, pediatrics and psychiatry. The hospital has a well-designed department for information management systems that electronically store hospital activity data and make it available as needed. The department is headed by AMS and is equipped with the latest complete software solutions for HMIS.
