Welcome To Isra Dental College

The campus of Isra Dental College is located 5 km away from the city center, in the background of agricultural land, on the national highway which is locally called Halla Road. It is accessible via the high-speed Hyderabad Bypass, just 2 km north of the campus. Frequent public transport runs along Halla Road, providing regular access from the city center to the campus as well as to nearby settlements on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Easily accessible and beautiful campuses provide services that create an educational environment for learning and intellectual development.

The university was recognized and rated by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC). In its short 18-year history, the university has grown from 30 students in the fall semester of 1997 to more than 3,500 now. 

Programs

Isra Dental College offers a four-year Bachelor's program in Dental Surgery accredited by PM & DC. The program aims to train highly qualified dental surgeons to bridge the gap between supply and demand nationally and internationally. The four-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery program covers at least 152 credit hours of coursework and practical training. The first two years cover basic medical and basic dental science subjects. The next two years will cover clinical medical sciences such as general medicine and general surgery, and clinical dental surgery. 

Isra Dental College also teaches in Dental College Science of Dental Materials, Oral Biology and Tooth Morphology, Community and Preventive Dentistry, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine, Oral Medicine, Operative Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Prosthodontics. 

In addition, Isra Dental College conducts residency programs for postgraduate degrees from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. Approved areas of Residency include Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Gynecology and Obstetrics and Anesthesiology. 

Computing Services

Computing services include a campus-wide backbone that connects all computers to the central server. In addition to separate computer laboratories for postgraduate students, several computer laboratories with high-speed machines are open to students, teaching staff and general computing work. Laboratories are equipped with in-house webcams for video and audio conferencing and software development. Isra Dental College has developed an integrated internal system for complete automation of its functions and procedures, including finance and accounting, inventory, library services, staff management, student activities, examination system, general and hospital administration.
