District Headquarters Hospital Jhang was shifted to its present location in 1970 (125 beds) and now has 303 beds. DHQ Hospital Jhang is located on Gojra Road, about 2 km from District Courts. The total area of ??this hospital is 205 kanals. The District Headquarters Hospital Jhang is headed by a Medical Superintendent who is a Grade 19 officer. It is assisted by the Additional Medical Superintendent, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Nursing Superintendent and New Management Structure (NMS) officers.

The hospital has 12 departments, CT-Scan, Dialysis Unit, Paeds Nursery and CCU and provides services such as diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illness, injury and other physical and mental disorders. The hospital has two emergencies that provide 24/7 services.

DHQ Hospital Jhang Blood Bank operates a 24/7 transfusion service to facilitate patients with their treatment, surgery and other related ailments. It acts as the backbone of the hospital, assisting in emergencies, trauma cases, viral endometriosis and dialysis centers.
