District Headquarters Hospital Toba Tek Singh was shifted to its present location in 1990 (125 beds) and now has 250 beds. Earlier, a dispensary was built in 1905 which was upgraded to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in 1919 and it was further expanded in 1982. Upgraded to District Headquarters Hospital. DHQ Hospital is located on Toba Tek Singh Rajana Road.

DHQ Hospital Toba Tek Singh is providing services not only to the residents of Toba Tek Singh District but also to the residents of adjoining districts. The hospital has 12 departments, CT-Scan, dialysis unit, paeds nursery and CCU that provide diagnostic, treatment and prevention services for illness, injury, and other physical and mental disorders. The hospital has an emergency department providing 24/7 services.
